Market overview: FTSE 100 up 1

LONDON (ShareCast) - 0830: Footsie (news) is now back rising again after Lloyds half-time figures. The shocking £13.4bn bad debt charge, 80% of which came from HBOS, meant a £4bn
underlying loss, but the comment that bad debts may have now peaked has boosted sentiment. Royal Bank of Scotland (LSE: RBS.L - news) , which reports on Friday, is up in sympathy. British Airways (LSE: BAY.L - news) is going well. FTSE 100 up 1 at 4,672.
