Germany's export-driven economy has been hammered harder than most in Europe

The The "Wadan Yards" shipyard in the northern German city of Warnemuende. German exports and industrial output posted record drops in April, challenging widely-held views that an historic recession in Europe's biggest economy had bottomed out.
