Employees of German retailer Karstadt, owned by Arcandor group, hold a poster reading "It's a question of 56,000 jobs" during a protest in Frankfurt on June 8. The board of the retail and tourism giant Arcandor have been holding an emergency meeting to save the company in Germany, a spokesman has said, after Berlin rejected its bid for aid.
