Ocado could float in 2010

LONDON (ShareCast) - Online grocery retailer Ocado is reportedly mulling a flotation on the stock exchange as early as next year.

The Times reported this morning that the company, which was launched in partnership with Waitrose in 2002,
could be worth around £600m.

Ocado finance director Jason Gissing, who last year said he would "rather shoot himself than be finance director of a listed company", has reportedly been encouraged by the float of American online restaurant booking service OpenTable.
