LONDON (ShareCast) - Europe's leading shares are going well with a rise in crude oil prices giving energy shares a lift in early dealings.

Light sweet crude oil futures rose close to $70 a barrel, boosting Total, Rapsol and Eni (Milan: ENI.MI - news) .

Across the markets, the German DAX is up 30 points at 5,035 with the French CAC rising 18 points to 3,308. The Swiss market is up 2 points to 5,393.

STMicroelectronics and Infineon (Xetra: 623100 - news) rose in sympathy after US peer Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN - news) upped its second-quarter earnings and revenue target.

On the downside, Air France (Paris: FR0000031122 - news) -KLM dropped after reporting a 8.1% decline in traffic in May.
