Venue Solutions says made significant commercial progress
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Venue Solutions Holdings Plc. said it has made significant commercial progress after receiving 20,000 pounds of takings at its YourDay video capture service at amusement park Alton Towers following the sale of some
1,000 DVDs between April 28 and May 5.
The venue management technologies provider said revenue per park visitor averaged 56 percent more than 2007 performance levels since opening in late March.
It said it expects a further two rides to go live in June as the company awaits the delivery of hardware.
It is confident that YourDay will be able to achieve success in other theme parks around the world.
Venue Solutions Holdings said it is actively pursuing expansion and is negotiating with other venues in both the UK and abroad regarding the installation of the YourDay video capture system.
