ThyssenKrupp denies interested to acquire Serbian copper-maker RTB
FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - ThyssenKrupp AG (Xetra: 750000 - news) . is not interested in acquiring Serbian copper-maker RTB, a spokesman
said, rebuffing earlier media reports.
The Serbian government in early April vowed to cancel a contract on the sale of RTB to Austria's A-Tec Industries AG. after the industrial conglomerate failed to meet a payment deadline and asked for more time.
A sale to SMR of Russian investor Oleg Deripaska also fell through last week.
