Rhoen-Klinikum buys St. Petri-Hospital Warburg for undisclosed price

BAD NEUSTADT A. D. SAALE, Germany (Thomson Financial) - German hospital operator Rhoen-Klinikum AG. said it bought St. Petri-Hospital in Warburg, Germany, as part of its strategy to grow through acquisitions from municipalities.

St. Petri-Hospital has 292 employees, Rhoen-Klinikum said in a statement, without disclosing financial details.

Rhoen-Klinikum recently said it stands ready to buy more hospitals from municipalities and regional states, who have a harder time dealing with rising wages and food and energy prices.
