Recession-hit British Airways is hoping to see sales take to the skies with its first business class buy-one-get-one-free offer.
Cash-strapped passengers could be lured to jump on board as the airline cuts prices to £1,666 for two people from London to New York, and £1,959 for two people from London to Miami.
Richard Tams, BA's UK and Ireland sales chief, said: "Never before has travelling in style been so affordable.
"This is a fabulous opportunity to fly for business or leisure at half the usual cost in amazing comfort."
The offer is available on selected dates between June and October, and closes at midnight on May 5.
Earlier in the week BA announced a new initative to help get business moving with their BAcking Britain campaign.
The airline has teamed up with UK Trade & Investment and British American Business to offer more than £15m worth of free flights to small and medium sized businesses.
BA shares rose by more than 4% on Thursday as stocks showed signs of recovery following the swine flu outbreak.
But the airline is forecasting an operating loss of about £150m in the next financial year to the end of March 2010.
