UK smallcap opening - Gatekeeper Systems advances on profits forecast
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Gatekeeper Systems (LSE: GKR.L - news) advanced 2-1/4 pence to 11 as the business support services company
disclosed lower full-year pretax profits of $1.4 million against $3.3 million , but said it sees 2008 pretax profits of at least $4.0 million, with EPS of $0.07.
Also in the ascendant, UBC Media Group (LSE: UBC.L - news) ticked up 1/2 to 7-1/2 following news that Global Traffic Network (NASDAQ: GNET - news) is to acquire the group's Commercial division for 15 million pounds, while a bullish full-year results statement lifted shares in ImmuPharma (LSE: IMM.L - news) , a pharmaceutical discovery and development company, 3 to 56-1/2.
