SVG Capital launches 100 mln pounds convertible bond offering
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - SVG Capital Plc. said it launched a convertible bond offering of 100 million pounds targeting institutional investors outside of the U.S. and has signed a deal for the sale of a portfolio of private equity fund interests
for 102.4 million pounds.
The company said the proceeds of the transactions, together with the recently announced realisations of debitel and Parkway, will strengthen its balance sheet and liquidity position.
The proceeds will be used for investment vehicles launched by SVG Advisers and general corporate purposes, it added.
