-Main banks, with Santander (Madrid: SAN.MC - news) down 0.16 at 13.95 and BBVA (Madrid: BBVA.MC - news) down 0.16 at 14.91, ahead of the ECB's rate decision.
-Selected domestically-focused banks, with Bankinter down 0.12 at 9.91, Sabadell off 0.06 at 6.57 and Popular shedding 0.12 to 11.22.
-Ferrovial, down 0.60 at 56.15, after the Financial Times' Lex column questioned whether the increasingly likely break-up of BAA's airport ownership would actually free-up cash for the debt-ridden group or boost competition.
-Sol Melia (Madrid: SOL.MC - news) , down 0.22 or 2.27 percent at 9.47, after reporting an 11 percent drop in net profit in the first quarter from a year earlier, depressed by the depreciation of the dollar and pound.
