Lufthansa raises fuel surcharges in response to high oil prices

FRANKFURT (Thomson Financial) - Deutsche Lufthansa AG (Xetra: 823212 - news) . said it is raising its fuel surcharges on long-haul routes by 5 euros to 82 euros and by 4 euros to 21 euros on domestic German and intra-European routes, in response to high oil prices.

It said the increases will apply to all Lufthansa tickets issued on or after May 14.
