MAJOR DECLINERS:
-TUI (Xetra: TUAG00 - news) down 0.65 euros, or 3.48 percent, at 18.02, after Exane BNP reduced its stance to 'neutral' from 'outperform' and set its target at 19 euro per share
-Infineon (Xetra: 623100 - news) down 0.16 euros, or 2.40 percent, at 6.51, correcting from recent gains after dealers said talk of a possible takeover from Intel (NASDAQ: INTC - news) and Samsung (000835.KS - news) , as well as indications of chip price increases, were helping the stock
-Deutsche Boerse (Xetra: 581005 - news) down 2.31 euros, or 2.25 percent, at 100.34, also correcting from gains on the back of Tuesday night's solid first-quarter numbers
-Munich Re down 2.37 euros, or 1.90 percent, at 122.27, as dealers said its first-quarter numbers, which included a drop net profit, were at best unimpressive.
-Lufthansa (Xetra: 823212 - news) down 0.31 euros, or 1.79 percent, at 16.99 hurt by rising oil prices over night.

-Deutsche Postbank (Xetra: 800100 - news) , up 1.24 euros, or 2.13 percent, at 59.44, reversing pre-session losses, as traders and analyst said its first-quarter numbers were in line or slightly better than expectations.
-Adidas (Xetra: 500340 - news) , up 0.28 euros, or 0.65 percent, at 43.59, after Goldman Sachs (NYSE: GS - news) raised its rating to 'neutral' from 'sell' and raised its price target to 41.5 euros per share from 39 euros on the back of strong first-quarter results the company posted on Tuesday.
-Linde (Xetra: 648300 - news) , up 0.35 euros, or 0.37 percent, at 95.30
-Bayer (Xetra: 575200 - news) , up 0.14 euros, or 0.25 percent, at 55.51
