Citigroup relocates global co-head of investment banking to Dubai

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Citigroup Inc (NYSE: C - news) . said Thursday it is relocating Alberto Verme, its global co-head of investment banking,
to Dubai.

The company said the move underscores the bank's commitment to the Middle East and to positioning its most talented staff closer to growth opportunities.

Verme will continue to share global responsibility for investment banking with Ray McGuire, who remains based in New York, the company said.

Shares of Citigroup closed Wednesday at $24.48.
