Asia Resources says major shareholder Leong Peng Kong resigns as director
LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Asia Resources Plc (LSE: ASR.L - news) . said Leong Peng Kong, who owns about 4.37 million shares in the company,
has resigned as a director effective April 30.
Kong was appointed an executive director as one of the vendors of Lin Shoon Jewellers Sdn Bhd, which was acquired by the company through a reverse takeover on Jan. 29.
The company said Kong will retain his shareholding under the lock-in agreement signed at the time of the acquisition.
