Aer Lingus says to increase fuel surcharge on long haul flights to U.S. UPDATE

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - Aer Lingus Group Plc. said it will increase its long-haul fuel surcharge on routes to the United States, effective from May 14, because of the record upsurge
in the price of oil in recent weeks and the airline's rising fuel bill.
The company said it will keep the level of the surcharges under constant review and make adjustments where appropriate.
The company said the fuel surcharge will increase on long haul flights between Ireland and New York/ Boston/ Washington to $100 from $75; between Ireland and Chicago to $110 from $82; between Ireland and Orlando to $110 from $90; and between Ireland and San Francisco/Los Angeles to $120 from $99 per sector.
