Ukraine economy minister says Oct CPI under 1 pct

KIEV, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Ukraine's consumer price index rose by less than one percent in October, lower than analysts' expectations, Economy Minister Bohdan Danylyshyn said on Wednesday.

Analysts polled by Reuters estimated October's inflation at 1.4 percent month-on-month. They said prices rose 14.8 percent compared to October last year and saw the index at 14.9 percent by the end of the year.

The state statistics committee releases official inflation data between the fourth and the sixth days of each month.
