NEW YORK, Nov 4 (Reuters) - Some U.S. stocks on the move on Wednesday:

KRAFT FOODS INC, $26.78, down 2.8 pct

The Dow component and foodmaker reported third-quarter earnings late Tuesday that beat expectations, though total revenue was below consensus. It also cut its full-year sales outlook.

TIME WARNER INC (NYSE: TWX - news) , $30.38, up 0.7 pct

The media and entertainment group company reported adjusted third-quarter earnings that beat expectations and raised its full-year profit view.

INTEL CORP (NASDAQ: INTC - news) , $18.67, up 1.7 pct

The chipmaker and Dow component was sued by New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo on Wednesday, accused of scheming to maintain monopoly power in the market for microprocessors.

AMBAC FINANCIAL GROUP INC, $1.55, up 40 pct

The bond insurer swung to a third-quarter profit.

LIZ CLAIBORNE INC (NYSE: LIZ - news) , $5.70, up 4 pct

The apparel maker reported third-quarter results that showed early signs it was turning around underperforming businesses.

WELLCARE HEALTH PLANS INC (NYSE: WCG - news) , $28.64, up 8.8 pct

The provider of health plans for the elderly and low-income Americans reported third-quarter earnings that beat expectations and raised the lower end of its 2009 profit view.

HARTFORD FINANCIAL SERVICES GROUP INC, $24.58, down 4.8 pct

The insurer reported a third-quarter loss that was narrower than expected late Tuesday.

MARTHA STEWART LIVING OMNIMEDIA INC, $4.97, down 5.9 pct

The media company reported a third-quarter loss that widened from the prior year because of falling magazine advertising revenue and lower merchandise sales at retailer Kmart, whose relationship with the company is ending soon.

XTO ENERGY INC (NYSE: XTO - news) , $42.77, up 1.3 pct

The oil and gas explorer reported adjusted third-quarter earnings that beat expectations and raised its full-year production target to 23 percent from 20 percent.

COMCAST CORP, $14.26, down 1.8 pct

The cable system operator reported third-quarter earnings that beat expectations, while revenue rose slightly less than expected.

PULTE HOMES INC, $9.67, up 4.8 pct

The home builder reported a quarterly loss but raised its forecast for efficiencies and savings from its acquisition of Centex.

GARMIN LTD (NASDAQ: GRMN - news) , $27.63, down 12 pct

The navigational device maker reported a surprising rise in quarterly profit, but the stock fell as investors were skeptical on its long-term prospects.

INTERNATIONAL FLAVORS AND FRAGRANCES INC, $39.42, up 1.4 pct

The spicemaker reported adjusted third-quarter earnings that fell from the prior year but beat expectations.

FOSTER WHEELER LTD (NASDAQ: FWLT - news) , $30.27, up 2 pct

The engineering and construction company posted adjusted third-quarter earnings that beat Wall Street views, though revenue fell more than expected.

RADIAN GROUP INC (NYSE: RDN - news) , $6.46 up 9.1 pct

The mortgage insurer reported a third-quarter loss that was narrower than expected and lowered its claims-paid expectations for 2009 by 15 percent.

TYCO ELECTRONICS LTD, $22.71, up 4.6 pct

The electronic connector maker posted fourth-quarter earnings that fell from the prior year and said a slowdown in its undersea fiber optics unit would weigh on sales in the current quarter.
