LONDON (AFP) - Banking giant Barclays (LSE: BARC.L - news) announced Monday that its net profits soared by 9.9 percent to 1.9 billion pounds in the first six months of the year.
Barclays also reported that its net income surged by 37 percent to a record 16.253 billion pounds.
