U.S. WCoast Products-Gasoline falls on economic fears
HOUSTON, July 2 (Reuters) - West Coast wholesale gasoline
prices dipped in slow trade on Thursday as refined products
values fell across the country on a dimming national economic
outlook, traders said.
Unleaded, ethanol-blend July CARBOB finished down 0.5 cent
after deals at 9.5 cents, 9.75 cents and 9.25 cents per gallon
over August NYMEX RBOB, which fell 6.82 cents to $1.7908
a gallon.
San Francisco Bay market July CARBOB widened its discount
to L.A. by 0.75 cent at 4.75 cents under the southern
California market.
August L.A. CARBOB gained 0.75 cents from Wedensday after
trades at 9.25 cents and 10 cents over September NYMEX RBOB
gasoline.
L.A. CARB diesel rose a penny in a bid-offer spread at 4.25
cents/5 cents per gallon over August NYMEX heating oil,
which tumbled 6.41 cents to $1.7016 per gallon.
Los Angeles market ultra-low sulfur diesel was unchanged at
0 cents/2 cents over NYMEX heating oil.
Jet fuel in Los Angeles gained 1.75 cents at 6 cents/7
cents over NYMEX heating oil.
In the Portland, Oregon, market, unleaded gasoline dropped
1.5 cents to 2 cents under/1 cent over NYMEX RBOB. Ultra-low
sulfur diesel was 2 cents lower at 4-cent offer over NYMEX
heating oil.
