Poland - Factors to Watch on July 2
WARSAW, July 2 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press
reports and events to watch which may affect Poland's financial

BIOTON
Polish insulin maker Bioton will issue 50 million
zlotys ($16.3 million) in shares to its main shareholder, the
Polish businessman Ryszard Krauze, for its financing, the
company said in a statement late on Wednesday.
PMPG
Polish media group PMPG said it will conduct due
diligence on small broadcaster TV Puls, which is seeking a new
investor after U.S. giant News Corp exited the channel
last year.
COAL
Poland's coal inventories rose to 6 million tonnes at
end-June, as demand for coal in Poland drops due to slowing
economy, Rzeczpospolita daily reported.
FORTIS ISSUE
Fortis Polska, controlled by the France's BNP Paribas (Paris: FR0000131104 - news) , will issue shares worth 400 million zlotys ($127
million), daily Parkiet reported without naming sources. All the
shares will be bought by the bank's French owner, the paper
also said.
INFLATION
Poland's inflation likely eased to 3.4 percent year-on-year
in June, the finance ministry estimates showed on Wednesday, and
this could prompt the MPC (A050540.KQ - news) to keep rates on hold at least
throughout the summer.
