The FTSE Small cap index leaps 3.8 percent by close of trade, as the
UK market rallies on the back of positive economic figures both at home and
abroad and buoyed by stimulus plans from the G20, with the FTSE 100
surging 4.3 percent and the FTSE 250 (news) 4.2 percent higher.
Artilium (LSE: FTI.L - news) soars 82.8 percent as the developer of advanced Mobile 2.0
software for telecoms networks, and Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ: MSFT - news) ., announced their
partnership to build a mobile application developer ecosystem.
Hexegon Human Capital shares plunge 23.2 percent as the recruitment
consultant says offer talks, announced in February 2008, have been terminated,
with Brewin Dolphin (LSE: BRW.L - news) downgrading its earnings forecasts on the back of this news
and the company's trading update.
