Russia oil wealth funds worth $220 bln-FinMin
MOSCOW, March 2 (Reuters) - Russia's oil wealth funds are currently worth about $220 billion, the Finance Ministry said on Monday.
The Reserve Fund, designated for plugging holes in the Russian budget, is currently worth over 4.8 trillion roubles or $136.3 billion, up from 4.7 trillion as of Feb, 1.
The National Wealth Fund has grown to 3.0 trillion roubles or $83.7 billion, up from 2.6 trillion as of Feb. 1.
Markets watch the data on the funds as one measure of the reserves Russia has to help it ride out ongoing market and economic turmoil, which has put pressure on public finances and the rouble.
